The Beacon Food Forest is a publicly funded and municipally sanctioned project in Seattle. It incorporates many of the same design patterns we hope to use in our food forest area. ​

University of Massachusetts Permaculture Gardens

 

This campus initiative is considered to be the premier example of using permaculture in a higher education setting to improve the environment, add value, and showcase what intelligent design can do. They focus on "edible, self-sustaining landscapes that are highly productive, bio-diverse, and low maintenance" -- exactly what we would like to do.
